From the photographers, Luis and Kerry of Piteira Photography: Lara and Arthur are Brazilian, originally from Rio De Janeiro but currently living in London, UK. Their wedding took place right on the beach (literally) on the tropical coastline of the Bahia state, just outside of the famous surf town of Itacaré. Everything about this wedding was super stylish but not at all formal, the couple managed to strike the perfect balance and pulled off one of the most amazing weddings (and parties!) that we’ve ever been to.
Lara´s uncle has a house in the jungle nearby and a little chapel on his property, which was where the ceremony was held… and then a tent was custom built right on the beach for the buffet style dinner and dancing afterwards and in true Brazilian style, the party continued until the early hours of the following morning. The decor was all in keeping with the tropical theme, as set by the location, and there were palm fronts and baby coconut trees, bright tropical fruits and flowers and bold colourful designs throughout.
