The location of the camp allow travelers to walk from the tents to the world famous Leopard Gorge, made popular by the BBC series of leopard documentaries. Walking safaris are the most popular activity in Kandili Camp but travelers can also enjoy night game-drives, balloon safaris, cultural visits and lectures about Maasai traditions, game drives or just relax and enjoy the amazing sunsets over the Oloolo escarpment from the Kandili dining and bar area.

Kandili Camp offers 6 luxury tents (2 queen and 4 king) with en-suite bathroom, hot showers and solar electricity. All the tents are brand new, decorated in warm modern-African style. Common areas include a large dining room with a west-facing bar area offering impressive sunsets over the OLOOLO escarpment and a more intimate library/living room to chill out at the end of the day with views of the endless game-filled Mara plains. Excellent food, personalized and warm service and traditional Kenyan hospitality further compliment the prime location.

Kandili Camp is an intimate tented camp, designed to provide total comfort and the incredible sensation of being a part of the great African wilderness – open sky and views, sounds and smells of the bush and its wildlife. A few personal touches: an open air shower for the romantic, our exquisite nyama-choma (Kenyan barbacue) dinner and candlelight, (after which our camp is named) transport our guests back to the bygone age of the classic, romantic safaris.
