Kassidy Love
Kassidy Mefford Love is a native of Wyoming, and has spent the last twenty-two years photographing weddings predominantly in wine country with destination shoots all over the world. She began developing her signature eye at seventeen years old after shooting her first wedding, shortly followed by her first nationally aired documentary at eighteen. An accomplished writer and driven filmmaker, Kassidy has explored the many facets that influence creative photography and photojournalism. She always strives to see something extraordinary in everything she photographs.
Being an honors graduate of the prestigious Brooks Institute of photography in Santa Barbara, California proves her technical skill, but it is her genuine demeanor, her photographic style and vision that is memorable. As a photojournalist for several California based newspapers and magazines, Kassidy has created a distinctive style of shooting; capturing true moments as they present themselves and delicately directing brides to help them look their most stunning on their special day. With a collective nineteen years of wedding photography experience and ten years as a wedding photographer in the Napa Valley, Kassidy has now become a sought after wedding and destination wedding photographer.
Kassidy lived in the Southern Nicaraguan surf town of Playa Gigante for six years in which she founded a non-profit organization called The Sweet Water Fund, which empowers local women through job opportunities, a healthy lifestyle and the arts. Embedded in the community, and one of the driving role models for positive change, Kassidy plans to continue telling stories through her photos to bring awareness to an impoverished nation and help drive prosperity and health into the small villages in which she works.
After Nicaragua, Kassidy spent three more years photographing weddings in Napa Valley where her two sons were born. In the new year of 2017, she and her little family ventured south once again to the sunny shores of the Riviera, Nayarit and settled in San Pancho Mexico, just ten minutes North of Sayulita, Mexico for the winter. Kassidy is still photographing weddings in Napa Valley, with weddings booked through the fall, and plans to set up home base in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the summers.
She was a principal photographer at the 2017 Festival Sayulita, Principal Photographer at the 2013 BottleRock Music Festival in Napa as well as the principal photographer for the annual Staglin Family Winery’s Music festival for Mental health, six years in a row.
She has photographed at the following venue’s: Auberge du Soleil, Charles Krug, Calistoga Ranch, Nickel and Nickel, The Vintage Inn Estates, Kunde Winery, Nicholson Ranch, Trentadue Winery, Stags’ Leap Winery, Kapscandy Family winery, Larkmead Winery, The San Francisco Fairmont, The Sonoma Mission Inn, The Lodge at Sonoma, Solage, Di Rosa Reserve, Silverado Country Club, Staglin Family winery, Hacienda Iguana Beach Club, Rancho Santana, Aqua Resort and Spa, Buena Vista Surf Club, and the Diamond Cross Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
